The Hayward Pro Series side-mount sand filter uses a precision-engineered umbrella-fold self-cleaning lateral under-drain system for efficient flow and evenly distributed water, giving totally balanced backwashing and long-lasting performance. Molded from durable, corrosion-proof polymeric material, it delivers dependable all-weather operation for large in-ground pools. A durable flanged inspection cover provides convenient access to the top of the filter, a top diffuser spreads water evenly over the sand bed, and automatic air relief purges trapped air during operation. A large pressure sand and water drain makes winterizing and servicing fast. Please note the control valve is sold separately for this model.
