FROG Algae Gone is a fast-acting dry-formula algaecide that removes existing green and yellow algae from in-ground and above-ground pools up to 30,000 gallons. Unlike the FROG 90-Day Algae Barrier which prevents new algae growth, Algae Gone is formulated to eliminate algae that has already formed. The kit includes three prefilled Drop 'n Go pods — use one pod per 10,000 gallons. Drop the pods in the skimmer, wait 24 hours as they dispense the concentrated formula, then discard the used pods when emptying the skimmer. No measuring, no spills, and no weekly dosing required. For best results, brush pool walls and floor before application and maintain proper water chemistry throughout treatment.
