The microchannel coil brings real advantages over a traditional evaporator: a robust structure that resists fin damage during installation and outdoor impacts, a Trivalent Chromium Process (TCP) corrosion-resistant coating developed with the U.S. government for durability in harsh climates, up to 50 pounds less weight, an 85 percent reduction in braze joints for fewer potential leak points, and significantly less refrigerant for lower environmental impact. Lower panel loading lets you use a 40 amp breaker, and you can add Omni automation for remote temperature control and intuitive scheduling.
