This large 30 inch model holds 500 pounds of sand and ships with a 2 inch VariFlo multiport control valve for higher-flow plumbing, whose easy lever-action handle lets you dial in any filter function, and an integral sight glass shows when the backwash cycle is complete. A flange-clamp design allows 360-degree rotation of the valve to simplify plumbing, an integral top diffuser spreads water evenly over the sand bed, and full-size internal piping keeps flow smooth and free. Precision umbrella-fold self-cleaning laterals give balanced flow and backwashing with easy serviceability, and a large pressure sand and water drain makes winterizing or servicing fast.
