The Hayward StarClear Plus is a single-element cartridge filter that pairs excellent quality and value with real convenience. Durable glass-reinforced co-polymer construction lets it handle demanding applications and tough environmental conditions, including in-floor cleaning systems, and a single-piece injection-molded base and body adds strength for reliable, corrosion-free performance. A single locking knob secures the head to the tank with no bolts or clamps, and an extra-large cartridge element with a precision-engineered core delivers added strength and maximum flow. An elevated filtered-water collector and debris sump helps keep heavy debris from bypassing back into the pool when you remove the cartridge for cleaning. Two-inch FIP connections and a 1/2 inch drain for fast draining complete the package.
