The Hayward SwimClear multi-element cartridge filter uses a Quad-Cluster of four reusable polyester cartridge elements to deliver 525 square feet of heavy-duty dirt-holding capacity, the largest in the SwimClear line, giving extra-long filter cycles that can run much of a season between cleanings. It captures more dirt for superior water clarity with no supplemental media and no backwashing, while the industry low head loss helps reduce energy costs. A durable glass-reinforced co-polymer tank handles demanding applications, including in-floor cleaning systems, and a heavy-duty tamper-proof one-piece clamp with self-aligning top and bottom makes servicing the elements fast without disturbing piping. A non-corrosive top closure plate keeps elements from lifting so unfiltered water cannot bypass into the pool, and a quick quarter-turn air relief valve bleeds air fast. Full-flow 2-inch internal piping with a union coupling that accepts 2 inch or 2.5 inch pipe maximizes performance, and a full-size 1.5 inch integral drain makes flushing the tank easy.
