The Hayward Universal H-Series 400,000 BTU propane heater with OmniX is the highest-output model in the OmniX heater line, engineered for easy drop-in replacement in in-ground pools and spas with direct compatibility to Hayward plumbing adapters. At its center is Hayward Universal Display, which gives a consistent, intuitive control experience across Omni, OmniX, and competitive automation systems. With OmniX embedded intelligence built in, the heater adds enhanced programmability, advanced diagnostics, and seamless remote connectivity. A cupro-nickel heat exchanger protects against corrosion and premature failure from unbalanced water chemistry, and Hayward Totally Managed water flow delivers industry-leading hydraulic performance with fast speed-to-heat. Front-panel-only access keeps service simple, and a universal junction box supports left or right electrical installation. It is a Low NOx model that meets clean air quality standards. Backwards-compatible OmniX retrofit kits are available for existing Universal H-Series gas heaters from 2016 or newer with the current bezel cutout.
